LEROY MERLIN started business in Portugal in 2001 and the first store opened in 2003 in Gondomar, next to Porto.There are now 9 stores:

• 4 in the Lisbon area:Sintra opened in 2004, Almada in 2005
• 3 in the south: Albufeira, which opened in 2006.
• Gondomar in the Porto area

Located throughout the country, we now offer national cover. We now employ 1,-00 people and over the next few months we will rise to our biggest challenge: we will double the size of our company! We have a unique concept on the Portuguese market and have the largest DIY stores in the country . Our philosophy is to improve our customers' homes by offering the latest innovations but also products using renewable energy .
